Ship Agency Services recently celebrated the first anniversary of attending Polaris Metals Pty Ltd vessels at Kwinana Bulk Berth No.2 (KBB2).  Since the first call of the MV “Union Dede” in mid November, 2011 SAS have attended to over 65 vessels loading either fully Iron Ore Lump or Fines Iron Ore or on occasions both parcels onto the same vessel. 

SAS work closely with Polaris Metals and Fremantle Ports (owner & operator of KBB2) on the vetting of vessels, ensuring that the vessel can meet with the port and berth restrictions which include strict draft and airdraft limitations. SAS coordinate and monitor the vessel operations very carefully from the time the vessel is fixed until the time it departs from Kwinana.
